We are so glad that the world didn't end today - the beautiful Miss P was given the honor of Broadway Babe (female) from Gorgeous Media Group's First Annual Gorgeous Awards! She and colleague Cheyenne Jackson won out the top spots for hottest actors from the Broadway as decided by the team at Gorgeous Media - a boutique management and public relations firm in Los Angeles. Valarie was selected on the merit of her one woman show earlier in 2012 at the Renberg Theatre. Despite the cold weather in NY, Valarie is feeling all warm and fuzzy about this award. The new LA Weekly issue just came out today -- and Valarie Pettiford In Concert at the Renberg Theatre at the LA Gay and Lesbian Center this Sunday (September 16 @ 7PM) has gotten the publication's recommendation with a "GO" tag on her calendar listing! You heard me right -- two shows on two major networks. Valarie can be seen starting in September on the third season of HBO's Treme, and then in CBS's new show, The Golden Boy, playing Chi McBride's wife. It's going to be a great season! Watch your local listings for times. The marvelous Miss P will perform at the Ojai Arts Center in Ojai, CA on Saturday, August 25, sharing the stage with the incredible Sharon McKnight!
